Wild Alaskan Silver Salmon
Somewhat smaller than the King Salmon, the Silver or Coho salmon is high in Omega 3s, vitamin D3, and Astaxanthin and considered by many to be the best salmon on the grill. Silvers have a reddish orange flesh that has a firm texture and delicate flavor, and lends itself perfectly to grilling, broiling, and sautéing both with and without seasonings and marinades. Silvers are also a great option for making gravlox.
