Shrimp Dishes Garlic Sauteed shrimp
* Shrimp thawed and rinsed with shell on.(can be peeled raw, but easier once cooked) * Fresh garlic - a couple cloves minced, or powdered garlic in a pinch * Butter, Coconut Oil, or your choice substitution * Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce or Liquid Aminos. Optional, but adds a nice saltiness.
Heat skillet over medium high heat. Add butter, garlic, and shrimp. Saute until shrimp turn a solid orange and meat is solid white. Best to not overcook, shoot for medium then remove and let rest a minute or two. Around 5-7 minutes.
Traditional Garlic Butter Dip
Steam shrimp for 5-10 minutes until a solid orange shell and meat is no longer opaque.
Combine your favorite butter(compound butters with infused flavors are really nice) with powdered garlic and melt in a small sauce pan or microwave. Mix well and transfer to dipping dish. Dip your peeled or unpeeled shrimp into butter and enjoy!
